that was the last of the Yenko Conversion cars in 1969. Chevy wouldn't do a COPO like program with the Nova like the Camaro and Chevelle. These cars were even wilder than the Camaro

$380k is insane

not really, the Yenko Nova is about the rarest off all the Yenko cars.

I'm just stunned because 3rd gen Novas never seem to pull that kind of $$. Even L79 2nd gens don't.

3rd Gen Novas are actually pretty underrated... Of course, I might be biased, but by the late 60's, as most other cars had morphed into massive self satire of the original Muscle Car concept (Brock Yates' words, way back in 1969), the Nova was one of the few that held true to its origins, and the third gen was the best of them all.

They always end up in the shadow of the Camaro and the Chevelle, and as such don't pull numbers like that.

This car is incredibly rare so $380k might be FMV but it's well out of the norm for a 3rd gen Nova.

The value is in the Yenko name, not because of the car. Add in rarity and its a high value car.

Well, at the base it IS an L78 car with a Yenko conversion, but yeah, $325k of that is the Yenko S/C status.

I'd say a '67 L79 car would probably pull a good buck too.

66 was the only full year of the L79 Nova and they bring upwards of $65k-$80k. They are supposedly 6 67 L79s so im guessing around $100k-$125k

I think there are only 3 left. Dan Miller had/has 2 and Jack Duer had/has one from what I recall, and at that point it's too tough to put numbers to it. Probably into the six figures though.

Exactly, when people think of GM Muscle Cars, they usually think of the larger and smaller models. The Nova got sandwiched inbetween, which is actually a good thing for people looking for a good deal on one.

The Nova was still a better car though :p
